Unconscious Disturbance was formed in 2005 in Sao Paulo, Brazil by Patrick, Daniel and PHreD. Patrick and Daniel had been playing together for 5 years and had been looking to start a band when they met up with Phred, (former bassist and vocalist for Meaculpa) who had just moved in from Pittsburgh.  Patrick and Daniel had previously composed instrumental songs and had been looking to apply some heavy vocals to their metal-influenced riffs and beats. They recorded a demo with bassist Fadel Dabien (guest musician at the time) between 2005 and 2006 that included seven full length tracks.  

 

Recently, guitarist Kiko Freiberg (Daniel’s brother) has joined, adding to the melodic variety and heavy feel of UD’s music. The band also decided to include Fadel Dabien as a member. They recorded their self-titled album in the summer of 2007, which includes five new tracks and four slightly modified versions of tracks from the 2005-06 demo.
